Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last. We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique.

And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new? Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list. Here are the details about the upcoming release:
  • You can attend the New Release Party on October 9 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can WIN PRIZES!
  • The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, is on October 9 at 10 PM EST. You'll find all the newest products HERE at release time.
  • If you'd like to see all the designers' posts for today, please click on over to the MFT Blog NOW. Be sure to leave comments as you go for the chance to win one of 2, $10 gift certificates given away daily. The winners will be posted on October 9 just before the release party, on the MFT blog.
Now that we've got all the details down pat, I'm excited to share my project today with you.  I've had a blast with all the stampy images, and did a lot of watercoloring, which truly makes my heart happy.  But today I've got a scrap page to share with you.

I received an amazing camera for Mother's Day and I've taken a few classes to play around with it.  I've been tormenting my boys taking their pictures constantly.  Figure I'd better get those pages in process.

My kid brother got married a few weeks ago, and the boys were so excited to be invited to the Rehearsal Dinner.  My younger son in particular was pretty excited about the fancy restaurant we got to eat at, and I couldn't convince him that the guys with little microphones in their ear were not secret agents, but part of the restaurant staff.  *kids are funny*

The weather was just perfect for dinner in the city, and of course some photos before. After all, for the first time in weeks the boys were in nice clothes, not graphic tees and athletic shorts.  I'd bothered to actually straighten my hair instead of tuck it in a ponytail.  A kind stranger volunteered to take our photo, and I'll admit to being more than a little concerned he'd run off with my camera.....

Being a mom of BOYS they're not to fond of me adding flowery embellishments to their pages.  I reached for the fun new Harlequin Die-namics and cut it from the gorgeous Steel Grey cardstock.

I also used the Steel Grey cardstock to cut the new High-Rise Alphabet.  I really like having more than one alphabet in my collection so that all my pages don't look exactly the same. KWIM?  I added the words "rehearsal dinner" to a set of Sentiment Strips with the Typewriter Alphabet.  (I stamped my words one letter at a time starting on the left and then chopped off the back end of the strip... so that the fishtail element was only on the left hand side of the strip.)

I added a set of the Jumbo Banner Day STAX and added a Kraft Button to the bottom side of my layout for a little balance.  My younger son is obsessed with this fedora, I'm going to have to devote an entire page full of fedora photos from this summer.  He cracks me up. My older son looks like a member of the Young Republican's Club or something.  I love that this page so clearly expresses their personal styles.  My husband saw me putting this page together and wants it for his office, he's going to have to wait though because this one is already tucked inside a sheet protector and inserted safely in my album.

Here's a look at the NEW Die-namics that I used in today's project - they'll all be available tonight at 10pm EST!

Be sure to check the MFT Blog today for a full list of designers with previews for you!
